President Hassan Sheikh Extends Eid al-Adha Greetings to Somali People

Mogadishu (SONNA) – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Somali people on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha, describing it as a celebration rooted in faith, compassion, sacrifice, brotherhood, and support for the vulnerable. “I pray to Allah to accept our good deeds and allow us to witness this occasion again in peace, good health, and prosperity,” the President said. President Hassan Sheikh also expressed gratitude to the Somali National Armed Forces, the country’s security heroes, and all citizens supporting state-building and national stability. “I commend the Armed Forces, the brave men and women defending the nation, and all Somalis who continue to stand for peace and statehood. Their sacrifices and dedication have contributed to the progress and achievements Somalia is witnessing today,” he stated. The President further conveyed special congratulations and appreciation to Somali pilgrims currently performing Hajj, praying for the acceptance of their عبادات and for lasting peace and blessings for Somalia and its people. “I pray that Allah accepts their worship and blesses our country and people with peace and prosperity,” President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud added.
