Somali Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Meets GCC Secretary-General to Strengthen Cooperation

Riyadh, (SONNA) — The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, H.E. Mohamed Amin Sheikh Osman, met today in Riyadh with the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), H.E. Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi. The meeting focused on ways to further strengthen bilateral relations and enhance cooperation between the GCC and the Federal Republic of Somalia. During the discussions, the GCC Secretary-General reaffirmed the Gulf states’ support for Somalia, emphasizing their commitment to backing efforts that promote the country’s security, unity, stability, and sovereignty.
